Surge Components' Ensures Greater
Through-Hole Stability With New SRM Capacitors

(October 25, 1999) -- Deer Park, N.Y. -- Surge Components, Inc. has expanded its family of SRM-Series capacitors with the inclusion of a new "snap-lock" version that provides greater through-hole stability on the board.

By using a newly developed crimped lead configuration, these ìsnap-lockî devices can be anchored to circuit boards more securely than equivalent capacitors with standard leads. This is particularly beneficial in manufacturing environments and multiple handling cycles. The SRM capacitors provide low impedance across a wide operating temperature range, making them suitable for modems, ballast lighting, security systems, power supplies, and a host of consumer products. They provide capacitance from .01µF to 10µF at a rated voltage of 100VDC to 630 VDC.

Delivery is 6 to 8 weeks. Pricing depends on part number and quantity.
