(November 29, 1999) -- Deer Park, NY -- Surge Components, Inc. today announced it has created separate marketing groups for its capacitor and discrete semiconductor products. The move establishes more efficient channels of technical support and communication among Surge customers, distributors and reps, the company said.
"Surges growth has been consistent over the past few years and we find ourselves in a position to reach a new plateau where it concerns our value as a supplier," said Ira Levy, Surge President. "That value can only be measured in terms our ability to provide outstanding technical support and responsive service through all contact points in and out of Surge. Separating the two core product areas gives us the ability to tailor our programs according to the markets needs and be a more highly valued resource to the OEM industry."
As part of the reorganization, Surge has appointed two Marketing Managers to the helm of each group: Glenn Chiricella for capacitors; Lorraine Hack for discrete semiconductors. Both are veterans with the company and will work in Surges Deer Park, NY headquarters reporting to Levy.
Surge Components, Inc. is a world-class supplier of capacitors and discrete semiconductors used widely in industrial electronic applications.
